It was a threatening afternoon and evening with the weather. Most everyone weathered it out and stayed with little sprinkling on and off. The food sure was great! Route 66 Hot Rod Café had stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers and their regular menu. Yummy!

The 50/50 was a bit off tonight but still was a good night to win. Here is hoping for better sunny weather next week.

It was truly the PERFECT WEATHER for a Cruise Night.

Hey Cruisers! We are growing each and every week. It is amazing to see the turn out that Riverfront is getting. Could it be because of the judging and awards given out – or could it be the fantastic door prizes Don Sitts gives out each week or could it be the high number the 50/50 attains each week? Or maybe it is just the plain ole camaraderie developed
by these cruisers. Whatever it is, they seem to be enjoying each other every week.

It was hot! hot! hot! but we still had the cruisers show even though there was a threat of rain. The door prizes were fantastic again along with the 50/50 Raffle close to $600. Come and join us if you haven’t yet and feel the nostalgia in the air.

What a great cruise night! The scorching heat did not keep cruisers away from the best cruise in the area. The lower level was full – of Camaro’s and Firebirds and what a beautiful sight to see. We thank you one and all cruisers for your attendance. If it weren’t for you, Riverfront would not continue to be the Number One Cruise of the Year!

The 50/50 Raffle was over the $850 mark. How exciting this is for the winner! See you all next Monday.

This was truly a perfect cruise evening. The weather was outstanding and we seem to have topped the number of cars attending, but we found spaces for everyone. We will always fit everyone in so keep coming and making Riverfront Cruise In the best! We continue to grow because of our great sponsor, Don Sitts of Don Sitts Auto Sales for doing such a great job putting this all together and making it #1 for the past three years. Don has made it worthwhile because of the many, many wonderful door prizes he gives out. Again, we want to thank Mary Ann and Brian Zimmerman for putting together the patriotic and 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s puzzles donated towards our door prize drawings.

Our food vendors this year deserve a big hand!! Johnny K’s on the South Side of the mall with many choice specials, and Route 66 Hot Rod Café at the North Side by the fountain, with Monday night cruiser specials of the most delicious food and DJ-ing at the same time.

Our 50/50 was the biggest so far this year topping $1,000!!! How exciting that was to be the winner of $500.

We also helped Richard & Sharon Horn of Cuyahoga Falls celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary by sharing cake with them.

If you have not been to Riverfront Cruise In, you need to come and enjoy Monday evenings with us – we guarantee you will have a blast taking your memories back in time as you view the beautiful restored cars.

JOHN SHAPARIO FROM CRUISIN TIMES MAGAZINE came to Riverfront to select one vehicle for his Lucky Thirteen Show of cars for 2010. The Winner was Dean Hillman of Cuyahoga Falls with his Black 1931 Chevy Coupe with an all steel body and Corvette rear end. A real beauty!!! and very deserving winner!

The whole Monday Night Cruise was a sight to see. We absolutely ran out of spaces to park vehicles. It was the biggest show ever! We filled the lower lot and also the street coming into the fountain area. There were more spectators than we have ever had admiring the cars and eating the great food from Johnny K’s and Route 66 Café. The door prizes were fantastic and the 50/50 Raffle was up to $816 with the winner taking home $408!!!! Our disc jockeys, Aloha Phil and Cadillac Mike were playing our favorite tunes all night. The Cool Cat Cruisers were there in fashion sporting their shirts.

It was the day following July 4th Holiday – and the cruisers were waiting to cruise! We had another record crowd. After the family picnics, the cars headed for Don Sitts Riverfront Cruise and it was amazing. There were so many great door prizes, i.e. an Ipod, a beautiful patriotic puzzle, a streetrod puzzle, many gift certificates, buckets of cleaning supplies, and of course the famous Riverfront 50/50 with the winner taking home $386. It was scorching hot!!!!! but fun was had by all. See you July 12th.

The weather was threatening AGAIN! After about 5pm, the cruisers start coming in because it was raining from every direction. The die hards showed up!!!! We had a Great 50/50 collecting $404.00….not bad for an iffy night of rain threats.

It was Aloha Phil’s birthday (How old is he? Does anyone know?) and he is also celebrating his 10th year spinning the tunes for the cruisers and for private parties. Keep Phil in mind for your parties.

What a beautiful night for a cruise. We had a record number of cars, cruisers and spectators! With no threat of rain, it was a perfect evening! Thanks to Mary Ann & Brian Zimmerman, yet another Cruiser Puzzle was given out for a door prize along with many fantastic door prizes. The 50/50 was over $800 – about the second best from last year.

Don’t forget to wear your Aloha Shirts next week, June 28, in celebration of Aloha Phil’s Birthday and his 10th Anniversary of spinning those tunes for cruisers.

Hey you Cool Cat Cruisers Club, don’t forget that Cruisin Times will be here July 19 so wear your Cool Cat Cruiser Shirts that night!!!
